Compressed Air Technician

Compressed Air Technician Responsibilities:

• Qualified candidates will serve customers by installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining all makes of commercial and industrial air compressors, along with additional compressed air system components.
• Basic hand tools are required by candidates seeking this position.
• Employer provided precision measuring tools for diagnostic trouble shooting of compressed air equipment.
• Candidates will need to be able to read and understand operations and parts manuals associated with all equipment.
• Candidate will need to be able to learn Preventive Maintenance service methods.
• Candidates will need to be able to assist and help customers with high priority issues as needed.
• HVAC and Heavy Mechanical backgrounds and knowledge are a plus.
• Basic knowledge of electricity (480 volt) and LOTO (lock out tag out) is required.
• Field Technician position available immediately.
• Company truck provided

• Normal schedule is Monday- Friday. Some weekends required
• Work area is a 250-300 mile radius.
• Some out of town travel and overnight stays required depending on scheduling.
• Shutdown work for customers is required as scheduled.

Compressed Air Technician Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience of 1-2 years minimum is preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and compliance schematics.
• Advanced mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment.
